Foundation of OekoSolve AG
History and structure of OekoSolve
In 2007, the idea of NTB electrical engineering professor Roland Rebsamen became a successful company with an international sales market. The aim was to develop and manufacture easy-to-install fine dust filters on the chimney mouth and high separation efficiency for wood-burning systems.
Roland Rebsamen realised the idea with his co-founders Reto Keller (also an NTB graduate and former student of Roland Rebsamen) and business economist Markus Weidmann. Participation in the 2007 business plan competition led to a high level of attention for the business idea and winning the Young Entrepreneur Award. This created all the conditions for a successful start-up. The sales launch of the OekoTube particle separator up to 40 kW followed in 2008, followed in 2010 by the optimised version of the OekoTube electrostatic fine dust filter, which simplified the installation and manual cleaning of the original electrostatic precipitator in particular. The OekoTube is the first fine dust separator in Switzerland to receive an approval number from the Association of Cantonal Fire Insurers.
Since 2011, OekoSolve has also been developing and producing larger systems and has been steadily expanding its range of services ever since. At the end of 2012, the FilterBox particle separator was optimised to achieve a higher degree of separation with broad support, while the OekoRona fine dust filter for wood-burning stoves in the output range up to 300 kW, which has been available on the market since 2015, also works according to the electrostatic principle. The accumulated fine dust falls directly into the ash drawer or is pressed into a container.
Recent developments from OekoSolve AG include the OekoTube-Inside, which, unlike the OekoTube, is not installed on the roof but directly in the boiler room. The OekoRona M is a further development of the OekoRona for automatic wood firing systems between 200 kW and 3,000 kW.
